Following 20 years of success with Soe San Boarding School, Chindwin College was founded in 2007 to be a multidisciplinary college offering globally recognized education.

Chindwin is the first Higher National Diploma (HND) College in Myanmar. HND is awarded by the largest education body in the UK, EDEXCEL, well known for awarding GCE A' Levels, GCSEs, BTECs and other qualifications.

Chindwin is also the only college to be affiliated with Myanmar Engineering Society (M.E.S).

HND is highly recognized in many countries. Upon completion of HND @ Chindwin, students have options to complete their Bachelor Degrees in countries like UK, USA, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Sri Lanka.

Following its 4 years journey, Chindwin has successfully graduated 3 batches of HND students who gained direct entry to final years of Bachelor of Engineering Degree Program in Coventry University (UK), University of Sunderland (UK) and University of Wolverhampton (UK).
